Heart N' Light

Painting with light of 

Informed by artists who utilise 'light painting' this project explores the idea of a form that is both present and not (much in the way death surrounds the living), I wanted to try using

painting with light to create evocative images of remains and to see if was possible to create the existence of a visual energy to surround the subject matter.

Attempting to fix the object in space, which at time proved

difficult, I took photographs of hearts, model acrylic dentition

and human teeth and stylised reconstructions of death

scenes, playing extensively with exposures and drawing with

and LED light.
